Yes! We now offer a “NO PLASTIC” option. This options includes only recycled paper packaging on some items. Please note, some vegetables may arrive slightly less fresh without plastic. Pre-packed goods like tofu or juices will still be contained in original packaging as we can’t replace them.

Currently, we don’t plan to include meat in our baskets.

Yes! We are happy to alter your box for you.. Some of our specialty products (packaged goods) do contain animal products and so you will not receive these specific items, but you will receive an abundance of fresh produce/tofu and select specialty products that are vegan-friendly.

Yes. As long as you make a request by Monday midnight, we will refund the remaining basket delivery. If you cancel your subscription after Tuesday, the following basket won’t be refunded as it has already been prepared. Should the refund take place, a transaction fee may arise and customer will be responsible for the fee unless there is a defect in the products.

Slowbox is currently running offline pick-up points in Gyedong, Seoul. You can pick up your basket and return the paper boxes here. Pick-up point users can get additional points as well. We will soon set up more pick-up points in Itaewon and Pyeongtaek. Please stay tuned.

All products and service are exactly the same whether the order has been made in Korean or English webpage. However, if you have made an order on Korean webpage, all of the messages from Slowbox regarding the order will be in Korean.

Slowbox organises four visits to the producer farms every year. You can check detailed information about the program on the notice page. Otherwise, we recommend you to try WWOOF, a voluntary experience in organic farms. To learn more, please visit https://wwoofkorea.org/

You can make purchases through ‘individual item’ menu on the website. If desired item is not on the sales list, you need to make a request by writing in the comments of each farm page and the farmer will get back to you whether the item is still available.

If there is any defect in the products (cracked eggs, rotten potatoes, etc) please file an issue with photos via Kakaotalk plusfriend or 1:1 Inquiry page below. We will take follow-up measures according to the extent of the damage. As they are fresh products, it is not possible to return them back to us. Instead we will give Slowbox points or partial refund as a compensation. Please be reminded that you must file an issue regarding fresh products within the arrival date.

Every fifth basket being delivered will include an upcycled banner sack plus a parcel form. You can post the boxes in the given sack back to us as pay on delivery. We will reserve extra points for those who participate in collecting the boxes. You can see more details in the link below.

Due to the transaction system, the maximum subscription period at the moment is for 3 months. If you wish for long-term subscription, please make an inquiry via Kakaotalk plusfriend or 1:1 Inquiry page below.

Yes, it is possible to change the size. As there will be a difference in prices according to the sizes, we will cancel your remaining subscription of the previous size basket except for those that have already been delivered and then subscribe to the different size basket. Should there be any transaction fee, the customer must bear the expenses.
